Saragail has hundreds of drums to share—every audience member gets a percussion instrument to play. World rhythms, in-the-moment music-making, drum songs & games build creative spirit & community, social & emotional intelligence, and support National Core Arts Standards.
CREATIVE WRITING—Let the words flow
Published author, produced & published songwriter & musical theater writer, Saragail Benjamin, breaks the creative writing process into easy-to-grasp, easy-to-follow steps anyone can follow. Write a story! A song! Find your inner writer & let your spirit sing.

PRE-SCHOOL TO POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS SUPPORT:

- Staff development available–will teach faculty to lead drum circles and help explore ways to use more music and creativity in the classroom.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES
- Duration–40-45 minutes
- We can work with up to 150 students at a time.
- Everyone gets an instrument to play for the duration of the program.
ARTIST RESIDENCIES
- Mulitple classroom visits
- Work with about 25 students per 45 minute session
- The most exciting residencies are conducted in tandem with faculty, in a team effort. Each residency is designed on a case by case basis, to best meet your school’s needs.
HOLIDAYS
- Christmas/Chaunkah/Kwanza multicultural program
- Columbus Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Presidents’ Day, Martin Luther King Day
- Great for multi-generational audiences. Invite the parents!
